Made for a contest in which the theme is "Elegance"
An original walker design. Designed as a mobile artillery unit that can move in a variety of environments.
Legate Angelus Victus of the Severan Dominate. Currently appears as #3 in image searches on the Severan Dominate.
A small partial lance of BattleMechs, the Vulture and the Raven are staple chassis designs from MechWarrior.
An original walker design showing the pilot in the process of exiting the hangar.
Captain Shane Kanow is a special forces unit commander skilled in and used to fighting in unconventional environments such as toxic atmospheres and the vacuum of space.
Vice Admiral High Redby is known for being an influential figure, but also one who frequently forgets the men who serve under him.
Sergeant Major Avery Johnson is one of the most important sidekick characters to follow a video game protagonist. His appearance in the Halo games has made him immortal in the eyes of many.
Lucia Vicci is a Corpsman, meaning that she is a Navy enlisted sailor who is trained to give basic medical attention to wounded personnel. She is not a doctor though, and should not be regarded as one on the battlefield.
An attempt at civilian clothing within my writing series.
Logan Cawl is a Marine Staff Sergeant who is a secondary character in a story I am currently writing.
Gregory Kapplan is a Marine who was well known for a domineering attitude, and also a belligerent one, who regarded some of his subordinates as relatively useless in comparison to himself, though in other respects was an effective Executive Officer.
A re-imagining of a drone from the Sonic the Hedgehog series. It is surprisingly difficult to reimagine a design from such a child-friendly game.
A redesign of the character of Rouge the Bat from the Sonic the Hedgehog series, done in a more serious style while retaining her job as a government agent.
An action heavy scene featuring the involvement of Major Kevin Sowell and Doctor Daniel Jackson in a firefight on a far-flung planet.
The F-29 Hellcat is a fast-moving yet hard-hitting aerospace strike fighter than can operate in both atmospheric conditions as well as the vacuum of space, and is able to swap out these capabilities on the fly depending on its environment.
My attempt at Beau Bridges from the Stargate television show.
A redesign of Marine armor from the Halo games.
A simple running pose.
A Marine officer gives an enlisted man orders on how to proceed in a serious situation.
"If I open the back of this truck, am I going to find anything?"
John-117 is the main protagonist of the Halo video games, and is regarded as one of the major faces of gaming today.
A design of a character from my writing series.
The SWATBOT is a recognizable character from the Sonic SatAM series, though this one is done in a more serious light.
My first major attempt at a standardized armor design for my writing series' characters.

WHO I AM
My name is Chris Vennettilli
All my life I had wanted to create worlds and people to live in them, have adventures, and have tales to tell. That desire brought another into being: to learn how to craft them through images, light, shadow, and detail. I have studied both on my own and under experts in the field, how to improve myself and innovate when it comes to characters, worlds, and motion. I have studied at the St. Clair College Tradigial Animation program, which has given me insight into techniques, both old and new as well as teaching me how to react to problems, including the most unexpected ones through logic, reason, and oftentimes improvisation.
I have always enjoyed the great works of science fiction for its freedom of design and interpretation, as well as the scope of possibilities, and this frequently works its way into the art that I produce.
I enjoy character art the most as any good tale needs heroes and villains, though I have a deep love of environments too, as every great story requires a setting. My aim is always to provide a background or narrative to pieces I produce, so that a picture isn't just a picture, but a window into someone else's world.
